Those are three different markets. A Shore property in Ocean County, a commuter town in Middlesex and an inland Monmouth township each price and move on their own terms, which is why a county average is rarely the number you actually need.

What happens after you contact a real estate agent
I reply the same day in almost every case, and usually within a couple of hours during the week.
If you are selling, the first conversation is about the address rather than about hiring me. I will tell you what the comparable sales support and what the house would realistically bring, and you are free to do nothing with that.
If you are buying, bring whatever you have. A saved listing, a town you keep coming back to, or just a price range is enough to start. You do not need to be ready to make an offer to contact a real estate agent and ask a question.
